Roadside bomb detonated, another dismantled in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A roadside bomb went off targeting an Iraqi army patrol, while another force was able to find and defuse another roadside bomb in Mosul city, a military source from Ninewa province said on Tuesday, stressing that both incidents caused no casualties. “A roadside bomb detonated targeting an Iraqi army patrol in al-Ghabat area, northeast of Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “One of the patrol’s vehicles was damaged, without causing any casualties,” he said. “Another army patrol found a roadside bomb on the main street of al-Zahraa neighborhood, eastern Mosul,” he added. “The patrol dismantled the roadside bomb without causing casualties,” he noted. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. MH (P)/SR 1
