Private sector investment committee in Karbala

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: A private investment committee encompassing bodies working in the fields of trade, industry, and investment has been set up in Karbala, a spokesperson for the province’s Investment Commission said on Thursday. “The committee will provide advisory services for investment projects in the province,” Raed al-Issali told IraqiNews.com news agency. The committee encompasses representatives of the investment commission, the Chamber of Commerce, the Businessmen’s Union and the Industries Union in Karbala, Issali explained. The committee will help facilitate the work of investors inside the province, he added. The holy Shiite city of Karbala lies 110 km southwest of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. SS (P)/SR 1
