6 wanted men arrested in Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi army force on Sunday arrested six wanted men who were attempting to plant a roadside bomb in southern Baghdad, targeting Hussein al-Tahan, the capital’s mayor, said the official spokesperson of Baghdad Operations Command (BOC). “The arrest operation took place while the mayor was returning from Awaereej area, southern Baghdad, to the center of the city,” General Qassim Atta told IraqiNews.com news agency.
