Finance minister calls on Australian companies to invest in Iraq

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi minister of finance called on Australian companies to invest in Iraq, nothing that investment legislation in the country “guarantees cooperation for investment companies to build and rehabilitate Iraq,” according to release issued by the Finance Ministry. “Minister Baqr Jabr al-Zubaidi received in Baghdad the Australian ambassador to Iraq,” said the release that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The two sides discussed their countries’ mutual relations especially in the fields of electricity, power, constructing residential compounds, in addition to revamping water networks and roads,” it added.
