Press syndicate wins elections’ case

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Press Syndicate on Tuesday won the case brought against it by some media personnel contesting the results of its elections, held in July 2008. “On Tuesday morning, the court issued its ruling in favor of the syndicate,” the syndicate’s lawyer, Tareq Harb, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The elections were found to be fair…,” Harb added.
