Talabani discusses with Allawi political process

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi President Jalal Talabani on Tuesday discussed with the Head of National Accord Movement Iyad Allawi the latest political developments in Iraq, according to a presidential statement. “Talabani discussed with Allawi the latest political developments in Iraq and in the region and their affects on the political process in the country ahead of the local and general elections,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Burhan Saleh, Minister of Water Resources Latief Rashied and Head of the Kurdistan Alliance Fouad Maasoum,” it added.
