Voting should be conducted according to legal procedures – PM

THI-QAR / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi premier Nouri al-Maliki on Tuesday said from Thi-Qar province that participation in the upcoming provincial election that will take place early next week should be according to legal and constitutional procedures. “The future of our security and prosperity relies on this participation,” al-Maliki said in a speech addressed to a crowd of Thi-Qar residents. “Iraq has come back to be for all Iraqis,” he said. “All Iraqi components will be happy when the national unity relies on justice,” he added. “Election is a fortified dam that prevents dictatorship from returning to Iraq,” he noted.
