18,000 observers to take part in monitoring Missan elections

MISSAN / IraqiNews.com: A total of 18,000 representatives of political blocs will take part in following up the local elections in Missan, the media official of the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) in Missan said on Friday. “18,000 observers have been registered in the IHEC in Missan to follow up the elections,” Hassan Abdul Hassan told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The observers belong to 51 political and individual blocs,” he added. “There are 220 electoral centers in Missan, including 1449 poll stations dedicated to 27 members of the Missan provincial council from the 51 blocs,” he also said.
