Iraq to participate in Asian archery tournament

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq will participate with two teams, one for males and another for females, in the Asian archery tournament that will take place in Thailand this month, the secretary general of the Iraqi Central Archery Federation said on Tuesday. “The tournament will take place in Bangkok, from Feb. 18-24,” Saad Mahmoud al-Mashahadani told IraqiNews.com news agency. “More than 30 Asian teams will participate in the tournament,” he said. He pointed out that the two Iraqi teams are currently in a training camp in Salah al-Din province, which will last until the beginning of the tournament. MH (P) / SS 1
