Soon: Symposium on private sector’s role in investment

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi National Investment Commission will hold a symposium on the role of the private sector in promoting investment in the country. “The symposium will be held on February 7 to highlight the role of the private sector in promoting investments,” a media source from the commission told IraqiNews.com news agency. The symposium will also tackle whether the private sector benefits from the Investment Law, the source added. The event, entitled ‘The private sector: A basic foundation for rendering investments in Iraq a success,’ will be held at the Baghdad-based al-Mansour hotel, the source added. SS (P)/SR 1
