Cop killed, another kidnapped with father south of Sinjar

DUHUK / IraqiNews.com: Unidentified gunmen attacked a village south of Sinjar and machine-gunned a policeman and kidnapped another with his father, according the district mayor. “The killed policeman’s relatives have told us that unidentified gunmen in military uniform attacked the village of Nawfali at a late hour of Saturday (Feb. 7) evening, killing one policeman in the district of Sinjar, (120 km) west of Mosul, and kidnapping another policeman and his father and took them to an unknown place,” Dakheel Qassem Hassoun told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The authorities are investigating the incident.
