Bridge project resumed in Nassiriya

THI-QAR / IraqiNews.com: The supervisor of the al-Qithara bridge project in Nassiriya on Monday said that work resumed on the project. “The work resumed after its suspension because of the implementation of a-Nabi Ibrahim street project,” Engineer Fouad Kazem told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The bridge is 600 meters in length and 16 meters wide, will have four-lanes, and intersect with al-Nabi Ibrahim street,” he added. “A local company have been implementing the project since last June and it will be completed in 24 months,” he also said. Nassiriya, the capital of Thi-Qar, lies 360 km south of Baghdad.   SH (P)/SR 1
