Maliki calls for developing oil sector

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki on Friday called for developing the oil sector, according to a statement of the council of ministers. “The premier chaired a meeting of the committee assigned to study the oil reality in Iraq, during which he asserted the importance of developing the oil production in the country,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
