Iraqi soldier killed by bomb blast in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: An Iraqi army soldier was killed on Monday in a bomb explosion in western Mosul, said a police source. “An improvised explosive device went off on Monday (Feb. 16) targeting an Iraqi army vehicle patrol in al-Kawar region near al-Maash market in western Mosul, killing a soldier,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The body was sent to the forensic medicine department,” he added, without giving further details.
