VP rules out no-confidence motion against gov’t

NAJAF / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Vice President Adel Abdelmahdi on Monday ruled out any intention by the Shaheed al-Mihrab Movement to hand over a no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s government. “Meetings are being held at the national and local levels and everyone is waiting for the final results…,” Abdelmahdi said in reference to provincial council elections during a press conference following his visit to top Shiite Cleric Ali al-Sistani in his Najaf-based office. “Shaheed al –Mihrab Movement is open to everyone…,” Abdelmahdi noted.
