Poll results out on Thurs. noon

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The final results of the provincial council elections held in Iraq late last month will be announced on Thursday afternoon, according to an official source. “The results will be out at 05:00 p.m. Thursday,” the head of the media department in the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC), Kareem al-Tamimi, said during a Baghdad-based press conference that was attended by IraqiNews.com news agency. Earlier, the head of the commission, Faraj al-Haidari said that the final results will be announced during a press conference on Wednesday (Feb. 18).
