5,000 residential units in marshlands – gov’t

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi council of ministers approved a contract to build 5,000 residential units in the marshlands of Missan (3,000), Missan (1,000), and Thi-Qar (1,000), to deal with the housing problem in the provinces, according to a release issued on Wednesday by the official spokesperson of the Iraqi government. “Five companies have been bidding on this contract that was awarded to one of them,” Dr. Ali al-Dabbagh said in a release that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The contract will be executed within 10 months,” he added.
