VP says Iraq seeks economic ties with France

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Vice President Adel Abdelmahdi on Thursday said that his government is willing to open channels of economic cooperation with France. The remark came during his reception of the French minister of state for foreign trade affairs, Anne Marie Idrac, in his Baghdad-based office, according to a statement released by Abdelmahdi’s office and received by IraqiNews.com. The meeting tackled means of boosting mutual cooperation in all fields, the statement noted.
