4 wanted men arrested, military towers built in eastern Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi army forces detained four wanted men and built three military control towers in a residential section in eastern Mosul on Saturday, an army source said. “A force from the Iraqi army’s 6th Brigade arrested four wanted men during a search raid in al-Zahraa neighborhood, eastern Mosul,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The force also seized arms and munitions in the raid as part of the military operations conducted by the Ninewa Operations Command (NOC) in the city of Mosul,” the source added. He said the force also set up three military control towers in an effort to prevent any armed activities. Mosul, the capital city of Ninewa province, lies 405 km north of Baghdad. AmR (P) 1
