Water project finalized in Karbala village

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: A water station was finalized in one of the villages of al-Husseiniya district, northern Karbala, at a cost of 326 million Iraqi dinars ($275,000), according to the governor of Karbala on Saturday. “A local company finalized a water station in village in al-Husseiniya district, (20 km) northern Karbala,” Oqeil al-Khazaali told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The project should serve 30,000 local residents,” he said, adding the village was not provided with any water networks. He said that the project, which envisaged the installation of a water unit with a network that is three kilometers long, is part of a program to develop provinces and accelerate reconstruction.
