IED wounds 5 soldiers in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Five Iraqi servicemen on Sunday were wounded when an explosive charge went off in southern Mosul city, according to a security source. “Today, an improvised explosive device (IED) targeted an Iraqi army patrol vehicle near Hamam al-Alil district, southern Mosul, injuring five patrolmen,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The wounded were taken to a hospital for treatment,” the source noted, providing no further details.
