Over 100 Christian families return home in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: More than 100 Christian families have returned to their houses in Mosul city throughout January and February 2009, according to a local police source. “These families have returned home from the district’s center and the neighboring town of Kramlis,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. In late September 2008, Christians in Ninewa were subjected to threats and attacks that forced many of them to leave their houses. A wide-scale security operation was conducted on September 14, 2008 to restore security and stability to the province and to return the displaced persons to their homes.
