Robbery foiled, robber arrested in Ninewa

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A force from Rabeaa police foiled a robbery attempt and arrested one of the robbers near Mosul, a source form Ninewa police said on Sunday. “During a late hour on Saturday (Feb. 21) night, two men stole a KIA minibus loaded with imported cigarettes at gunpoint from its driver,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The incident took place at an entrance to Rabeaa district, 120 km west of Mosul,” he said. “One of the two robbers was arrested and the stolen car was found with the cigarettes inside, in addition to the car that the two men used in their robbery,” he added.
