INL candidate wounded in blast in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A candidate from the Iraqi National List (INL) for the provincial council in Baghdad was severely wounded when a sticky improvised explosive device attached to his vehicle went off in northern Mosul on Monday, police said. “Amer Shaaban al-Leheibi was wounded when an IED attached to his vehicle went off in al-Majmouaa al-Thaqafiya neighborhood, northern Mosul,” a source from the Ninewa police told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Leheibi’s wounds were so severe that one of his legs was amputated,” the source added.
