2 women injured in attack on PUK in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Unknown gunmen on Tuesday threw a hand grenade near an office of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), injuring two women, a police source said. “The gunmen threw the bomb near the office of the PUK in al-Jazaer region in eastern Mosul, injuring two women,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, led by President Jalal Talabani, is one of the two main Kurdish parties. A sticky bomb went off on Monday (Feb. 23) near an office of the PUK in al-Faisaliya neighborhood in eastern Mosul, without leaving casualties.
