President Talabani calls on S. Korean firms to work in Iraq

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi President Jalal Talabani reiterated his calls for South Korean companies to work in Iraq, stressing that the Iraqi government will facilitate those companies’ missions in Iraq. “The Iraqi people do not forget their friends who offered their services and support during the hard days,” a release posted on the official Web site of the Iraqi presidency quoted Talabani as saying. President Talabani, who arrived in Seoul last Sunday (Feb. 22), called for expanding and reinforcing relations with South Korea, according to the release. MH (P)/SR 1
