Cooperation agreement between Iraq, OIC

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq and the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) agreed on a work plan for joint cooperation to cover the next three years, the foreign ministry said in a statement on Thursday. “A joint statement was issued on Feb. 25, 2009 to ensure the inclusion of the main items of cooperation between ministries and sector institutions of Iraq and the organization represented by the Secretariat and its subsidiary and specialized agencies,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The Organization pledged its continued support for Iraq and the various institutions and the contribution to the development of its proposed projects to serve the different economic social and cultural development,” it added.
