Iraqi success lies in unity- Iranian official

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The chairman of Iran’s Expediency Council, Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, said that the success achieved by Iraqis lies in their unity and solidarity, according to a presidential statement. The remark was made during Rafsanjani’s meeting with President Jalal al-Talabani in Iran. “Rafsanjani praised the progress and the victories won in Iraq following the collapse of dictatorship,” read the statement that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The new multi-party democratic system in Iraq is grabbing our attention,” he added.
