AQI operative arrested in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: An army force on Sunday captured an al-Qaeda in Iraq member in western Mosul city, according to a security source. “Today, a force from the 6 th Brigade, 2 nd Division, stationed in Mosul, arrested an al-Qaeda gunman in 17 Tammuz neighborhood,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The man is wanted for his involvement in many crimes, including the manufacturing of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) that target security personnel in the city,” the source added.
