16 persons nabbed near Kirkuk

KIRKUK / IraqiNews.com: A joint force on Monday arrested 16 persons near Kirkuk city, according to a local police chief. “Today, a joint force from the local police, the emergency squad and the criminal investigations department launched a search raid in al-Sinaie neighborhood and the villages of Rajabat and Girdaglo (10 km southwest of Kirkuk),” Brig. Sarhad Qadir told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Sixteen persons were arrested during the raid under Article IV of the Terrorism Law,” the official explained.
