National police release 32 detainees

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: 32 Iraqi detainees were released after they were handed over by the U.S. forces to the Iraqi side, said a commander of the national police contingent. “The release process was attended by representatives of civil society organizations and detainees’ families,” Lieutenant Colonel Ziyad Mohammed told IraqiNews.com news agency. “This comes as part of the Iraqi-U.S. security pact,” he said.
