Fish farming conference urges tighter imports

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The sixth scientific conference on the development of fish farming has ended in Basra province with a number of recommendations for boosting the country’s fish production by controlling meat and fish imports. “The recommendations included a review of the fish farming law no. 48 of the year 1976,” the chairman of the committee responsible for organizing the conference, Sajid Saad, said in a statement to the National Media Center that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
