Talabani heads for Sulaimaniya

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi President Jalal Talabani headed for the northern Iraqi Kurdish city of Sulaimaniya on Thursday to preside over a meeting of the Kurdistan Patriotic Union, according to a source close to the PUK. Talabani is the leader of the PUK, one of two main Kurdish parties. The other one, the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), is led by the Iraqi Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barazani. AmR (P) 1
