Recent violent acts ‘security violations’ – MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A lawmaker denied on Friday that the security condition has deteriorated recently, noting that the recent violent acts are just ‘security violations’. “The recent acts of violence in Baghdad and other provinces are just security violations because of the failure in distributing military missions which led to a security vacuum in some places as security forces were busy protecting Shiite pilgrims,” Hassan al-Sanied, member of the defense and security committee, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “Terrorists use these occasions to attack these unprotected regions,” he explained, A total of 15 people were killed and 65 others were wounded in acts of violence in Ninewa, Missan, Babel and Baghdad in the past 24 hours, according to security sources.
