WB, IMF to review Iraq’s financial situation in Amman

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will hold a meeting in Amman on Saturday with an Iraqi ministerial delegation to review Iraq’s financial situation according to the Paris Club agreements. The Iraqi delegation includes Finance Minister, Baqer Jabr Al-Zubaidi, Oil Minister, Hussein al-Shahrestani and Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq, Sinan al-Shebibi, the Jordanian al-Dustor newspaper said on Friday. The delegation will present comprehensive financial files on the CBI situation and its liquidity percentage, it reported. These meetings are being held every three months within the review held by the WB and the IMF to the Iraqi financial files to measure the Iraqi economy’s improvement level. SH (P) 1
