127 kg of drugs seized, police arrests 4 dealers in Anbar

ANBAR / IraqiNews.com: Security forces on Saturday arrested four persons with 127 kg of drugs in their possession in western al-Anbar, said the media director of the province’s police. “The operation was based on intelligence tip-offs,” Maj. Abdulsattar Mohammed told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The information revealed that four suspected drug dealers have crossed the border,” he said. “They were tracked down and arrested in central al-Rutba district, a border area with Jordan, (330 km) west of al-Ramadi,” he added. Ramadi, the capital city of the predominantly-Sunni province of Anbar, lies 110 km west of Baghdad. MH (P)/AmR 2
