Residential compound on the way in Hilla

BABEL / IraqiNews.com: The foundation stone has been laid for a residential compound in Hilla city at a total cost of nearly $48 million U.S. dollars, according to a local media director. “On Saturday, an under-secretary of state in the Ministry of Housing and Construction, Istabraq al-Shouk, laid the foundation stone for the second residential compound in Hilla city, which includes 528 housing units,” Abdelrida Issa told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The project is built on an area of 57,1 donums (1 donum = 2,500 square meters) and encompasses 66 residential buildings, a primary school, a market, a nursery…,” Issa added.
