Women in Thi-Qar celebrate their day

Thi-Qar / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi women’s society on in Thi-Qar Saturday held its second annual festival on the occasion of women’s day. “Speeches and poems were delivered during the event dedicated for the perennial demand by women to get their rights,” Hiya Hussein, the society’s director, told IraqiNews.com news agency . “A play titled Violence against Women was also performed during the occasion,” she added .
