4 civilians wounded in Diala blast

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: Four civilians were wounded when an improvised explosive device (IED) went off near their house northeast of Baaquba city on Sunday, police said. “The IED blast targeted the house of a local resident in Abi Sayda area, al-Muqdadiya district, (45 km) northeast of Baaquba, leaving four persons who were inside the house then wounded,” Maj. General Abdulhussein al-Shimari, the Diala police chief, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The explosion caused severe damage to the house,” Shimari added, not giving more information about the incident.
