Thi-Qar medical oxygen factory in operation

THI-QAR / IraqiNews.com: A $447,227 medical oxygen factory is currently in operation in Thi-Qar province, a local health official said on Sunday. “The factory has a capacity of 200 oxygen cylinders a day,” the director of the health department in the province, Hadi Badr al-Riyahi, told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The factory has already distributed 200 cylinders to health institutions in the province,” Riyahi noted, adding that it is expected to save the country an amount of up to 600 million Iraqi dinars (1 U.S. dollar = 1,118 Iraqi dinars) a year spent on importing oxygen cylinders.
