Arab FMs, Clinton in Baghdad soon-Iraqi FM

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zibari said that Arab foreign ministers and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will soon meet in the capital Baghdad to discuss regional affairs. “Preparations will soon be underway for the meeting that will take place in Baghdad,” Zibari said in an interview with the London-based al-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper. When asked about U.S.-Iranian talks, Zibari said that the Obama administration backs dialogue with Iran, which he said will be of great benefit to several parties. Commenting on President Obama’s decision to order an early troop withdrawal from Iraq, the minister said that the pullout is required by the status of forces agreement, negotiated under President George Bush at the end of 2008.
