VP Abdul Mahdi meets tribal delegation

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Vice President Adel Abdul Mahdi on Tuesday received at his office in Baghdad a delegation from al-Tagi region’s chieftains and discussed with them the social, security and economic situation in their regions, according to a statement released from his office. “The chieftains asserted that their regions still suffer from several problems, mainly the raids waged by security forces and the detainees issue, who were arrested without a certain reason,” said the statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
