Maliki to meet Australian counterpart tom.

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki is scheduled to meet his Australian counterpart, Kevin Rudd, several parliamentarians and senior officials at the headquarters of the Australian Parliament in Sydney tomorrow. “Rudd will hold a dinner banquet in honor of the Iraqi premier at the Parliament’s headquarters. The two sides will discuss the future of mutual relations between the countries…,” according to the Australian news agency. Earlier today, Maliki arrived in Australia, leading a high-ranking delegation that included Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Trade Minister Abdelfalah al-Sudani, Industry Minister Fawzi al-Hariri and a number of officials. The premier left Baghdad on Tuesday (March 10) for Australia to discuss several issues of common concern, mainly cooperation in the agricultural field. SS (P)/SR 1
