ISX lower by 3.9% this week

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s Stock Exchange (ISX) index went down by 3.9 percent to close at 224.221 points this week to register the first decrease in the past four weeks. Traded shares in the three sessions held this week exceeded 7.7 billion at a total value of over 16.6 billion Iraqi dinars (nearly $14 million) by implementing 1533 contracts. The Iraqi Stock Exchange, established under Law No. 74 of the year 2004, held its first session on June 24, 2004. The stock market holds three sessions a week: Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. SH (P) 1
