AL chief’s visit welcome, though late-MP

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A member of the parliamentary foreign relations committee on Sunday said that the upcoming visit of Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa to Iraq will be “positive” though “late.” “The visit will be a step in the right direction. It will help activate Iraq’s role on the Arab arena…,” Abdelbari al-Zibari told IraqiNews.com news agency. On Friday (March 13), the Arab League said that Moussa will soon pay a visit to Baghdad to discuss several issues with senior Iraqi officials. Moussa’s last visit to Baghdad was in October 2005.
