Iraq, Iran sign MoUs to enhance trade

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi trade ministry signed agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with Iranian companies to provide the Central Markets Company with varied goods and commodities, according to a ministry release on Sunday. “The agreements were signed during a visit by an Iraqi trade delegation to Iran,” read the release as received by IraqiNews.com news agency. The statement quoted Hani Jaddou, the company’s director general, as saying that “the recent visit by the Iraqi delegation has achieved important results within plans to upgrade the company’s activities and offer citizens high-quality products”.
