360 landmines seized in northern Nassiriya

THI-QAR / IraqiNews.com: A special force managed on Tuesday to seize 360 landmines in northern Nassiriya, the Thi-Qar police said. “ Acting on intelligence information, a SWAT team from the Thi-Qar police seized a depot containing 360 landmines in 7 Nissan region in al-Shatra district in northern Nassiriya,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “ The landmines were defused without incident,” he added.
