Senior MP visits Japan over investment

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The head of the Iraqi Parliament’s foreign relations committee, Sheikh Humam Hamoudi, is visiting Japan’s capital, Tokyo, on an official trip that aims to encourage Japanese companies to invest in Iraq, according to a release issued by Hamoudi’s office. “Hamoudi arrived in Tokyo on Sunday (Mar. 15), leading a parliamentary delegation, in response to an invitation from the Japanese government,” said the release that was received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “He will discuss investment and the Japanese experience post World War II,” it added.
