Arab, foreign companies urged to build oil refinery in Missan

MISSAN / IraqiNews.com: Missan’s Investment Commission has called on Arab and foreign companies to build a huge oil refinery in the province. “The commission will offer all facilities to enable investors to carry out the project, which will cover the province’s needs for oil derivatives,” the head of the commission, Ali Wared, told IraqiNews.com news agency. The only oil refinery in Missan, located in Amara city, covers only 25 percent of the province’s needs and suffers regular breakdowns.
