10 killed, 20 wounded in Jalawlaa bombing

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: At least ten people were killed and 20 others were wounded in the suicide explosion that took place in Jalawlaa district on Monday, a security source said. “The bombing attack that took place on Monday evening (Mar. 23) among mourners at a funeral in Ashti neighborhood in Jalawlaa district in southwest of Khaneqeen, left ten dead and 20 wounded,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency, noting that the death toll is most likely to increase. A security source had said earlier that a suicide bomber blew up an explosive belt strapped to his body on Monday evening (Mar. 23) among mourners at a funeral in Ashti neighborhood in central Jalawlaa in southwest of Khaneqeen, leaving unspecified number of casualties.
